Internal and shoulder type helical gear cutting is one way we do that. Using universal guide helical cutting heads, rather than fixed guides, saves our customers months of time, and thousands of dollars to produce prototype, and short run production parts that other gear manufacturers would have to produce by buying special fixed guides that will only produce one helix angle, and one hand of direction. Our universal guide heads will cut right or left hand angles with a turn of a dial.
